  Three Friday evening classes:

  • Unwind from the work week with yoga. One-hour class (6:15-7:15 PM) will include restorative poses, pranayama and meditation. Class is suitable for all levels. Space is limited. Class dates are April 9th, May 7th and 14th. Fee is $15.00/class or $40.00 for all 3 classes.

  Yoga Camp is Back!

  • This 3-morning finale to the yoga year will help you begin your summer with zest. Class dates are June 28th, 29th, and 30th. Class time 7:15-8:15 AM. Suitable for all levels except students new to yoga. Fee is $15.00/class or $40.00 for all 3 classes.



  How to Register:

  • Please send a check with choice of series to 60 Clyde St., Newton, MA 02460. Series fee includes one free class. Your place in class is reserved when your check is received.
  • Missed classes may be made up anytime during the current series only.
  • Class fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.

Class Levels

Level I class introduces students to the basics of Iyengar yoga. This class stress alignment, body awareness and stamina. Standing poses, simple forward extensions, and twists are included. This class is also appropriate for those students who have been away from yoga for sometime due to injury or schedule demands and wish to re-establish their practice.

Level I/II classes are for those students who have completed Level I and who are interested in deepening their work in the poses. Students in these classes will be introduced to the inversions of shoulder stand and headstand. Simple breathing techniques are introduced.

Level II class is open to students with a minimum of one-year experience in the Iyengar method. Backbends, balance poses, headstand, and shoulder stand are practiced on a regular basis in this class. The practice of pranayama is continued.

Level III class deepens the work begun in the previous levels and emphasizes alignment, strength, and stamina. Pranayama is practiced regularly.

Private and semi-private instruction is available.

Please bring a yoga (sticky) mat.
Wear loose clothing.
Leave feet bare.
Please be "perfume-free" for the comfort of other students.
Arrive at class at least several minutes before the start time.
